We thrive on those little challenges that are tossed our way from time to time. Such as developing a new online presence for a nascent product and developing it into a fully-fledged, profit positive brand.
This is exactly what happened with Bo'Vine, a new unequivocally carnivorous Food & Beverage offer being piloted at Hilton Glasgow Grosvenor.
In a nutshell, Bo'Vine is a contemporary take on a traditional steakhouse with a strong emphasis on high-quality meats, an attractively priced wine list and a casual, convivial atmosphere; the kind of place where you might lunch with close business associates or spend a relaxing evening with good friends.
It is no exaggeration to state that all we had was a logo, a menu and the sum total of about three weeks in which to develop the brand vocabulary, the tone-of-voice and interpret all that into a compelling and fully-functional live site together with off-line materials to herald the launch.
Once all the initial building blocks were established and the 'coming-soon' work was in place, we worked closely with the Stakeholder group, first-class photographic talent and a strong technology partner in JoomlaBamboo to develop the site with a seamlessly integrated reservations platform which has been generating revenues from the first weekend of trading and continues to go from strength to strength.
It is simple, intuitive, well-crafted (we hope you'll agree) and the Analytics prove that it is successfully doing its job in herding visitors to the reservations page.
We think that this is another classic example of what happens when you decide to work with Grain. We don't just slog away on the huge, great jobs with layer-upon-layer of complexity. Rather, we revel in being able to get our teeth into the tighter briefs where time is of the essence, the outcomes are almost instantaneous and where we can throw our collective experience and skills in to the pot.
